During the busy day-to-day rush of life, many people forget that maintaining great health requires more than once-yearly checkups and emergency or urgent care appointments when sick. Your health and well-being require you to treat your body like a machine that needs regular maintenance for optimal function.
Northwest Regional Health offers a wide range of services to give residents and visitors to our region the best quality of life possible, including a premiere wellness facility where trained professionals focus on making certain that every member has a properly maintained body. The NWMC Wellness Center is more than an exercise facility:
1. Organized Classes
We offer organized classes designed to teach you all the top physical treatments available for a healthier body. Our courses focus on giving members opportunities to hang out and socialize and create new and, hopefully, lasting ties and relationships in the community.
2. Personal Trainers
Our staff includes personal trainers. We can work with you via one-on-one sessions to help you determine your physical problem areas and create a fitness plan to address them that takes into account your unique body and any health conditions or limitations.
3. Aquatic Zone
Beyond our free weight, exercise equipment, and other fitness areas, our facility offers aquatic zones specially designed for both exercise and physical therapy. The large, main pool offers more than aerobic exercises and therapy. Members can also use it to enjoy laps. The small, secondary pool was designed originally for professional therapy. It’s now also available for personal meditation and relaxation.
4. Open 24/7
We no longer close our facility when it’s unstaffed. Our staff is typically available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. That said, we now offer our members the flexibility they need to pursue fitness around their schedules by keeping the facility open 24 hours per day, every day of the week. We also offer free Wi-Fi at all hours for our members’ convenience.
Even as we add new facilities and services, we’re always trying to find ways to use our existing sites to provide even more significant health care. Our Wellness Center is just one of more than 100 primary and second health improvement service offerings. We consider the facility one of our best available because it brings the community members even closer together.
